Aesthetıc, Plastıc and Reconstructıve Surgery
Breast size is a visual and functional problem in women. In severely larger breasts, the patient both struggles with the choice of clothing and these excesses cause posture disorders and chronic pain syndromes by putting pressure on the shoulders and spine over the years. It also prepares the ground for skin problems such as rashes and fungi in the part under the dangling part.
Bringing large breasts to normal dimensions is done with breast reduction surgery. In this surgery, excess breast tissue and skin are removed and the breast is both reduced and erected. The nipple is brought to the height it should be.
After breast reduction surgery (although it varies according to the size and shape of the breast), there are various scars. These marks remain a circular mark around the nipple, a vertical mark down the nipple and a horizontal mark on the area where the breast folding is. While the traces are initially pronounced, their clarity decreases in the following months.
Breast reduction is applied under general anesthesia. Recovery time is a week. A special bra is used for a month after the procedure.
