Another procedure that has increased in popularity in recent years is bichectomy, that is, cheek thinning. In this procedure, which is made through a small incision in the mouth, it is aimed to remove the fat tissue called the Bichat fat pad, which makes our cheeks plump. Although it varies from person to person, approximately 2 to 4 cc of Bichat oil is extracted from each cheek.

Thanks to this process, the cheekbones become more prominent and the chubby facial features become more attractive by thinning. It is also possible to perform dimple aesthetics simultaneously with bichectomy.

Bichectomy recovery time is three days. It is applied under local anesthesia. The patient should consume soft food for three days, and should do mouth care with mouthwash after the meal.
